TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Mitre 10 / Cityhop Customer Van Survey Prize Draw

1.     Entry into the Mitre 10/Cityhop Customer Survey Prize Draw (Competition) is automatic upon completion of the Mitre 10/Cityhop Customer Van Survey, and completion of the Survey is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Promoter

  1. The promoter of the Competition is Kinto New Zealand Limited (t/a Cityhop), with its registered office at Toyota Building, Millennium Centre, 602 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland 1051.

Competition Period

  1. The Competition commences on Wednesday 1st May and finishes at 5 pm on Wednesday 15th May 2024 (the Competition Period).

Eligibility

  1. To be eligible for entry into this prize draw you must be:

a.       an existing Cityhop customer;

b.       a New Zealand resident;

c.       18 years of age or older;

d.       have received a Survey by email; and

e.       have completed all the questions of the online survey

  1. Employees, contractors, shareholders and their immediate families (being partners, children and parents) of the following organisations are not eligible to enter the competition: Toyota Financial Services Limited, Toyota New Zealand Limited, Mitre 10 Liited and Mitre 10 Mega Franchises.

The Competition

  1. By completing the Survey provided via email to existing Cityhop customers selected to participate, eligible entrants will go into the draw to win one (1) of 10 prizes of a $50 Mitre gift card and a $50 Cityhop Account Credit, at the end of the Competition Period.
  2. Only one entry is available per eligible entrant.
  3. All valid entries will be entered into a draw which will be made within 5 days of the end of the Competition Period.  Entries will be drawn at random and the first ten qualifying entries drawn will be deemed the winners (Prize Winners).
  4. The Prize Winners will be contacted by email on the email address provided to Cityhop when registering.  If, after making reasonable attempts, Cityhop cannot contact a winner by email within 5 working days of the Draw Date, the winner will not be eligible to receive a Prize and the Prize will be redrawn on the same terms and conditions, until a new Prize Winner is successfully contacted.

  6. Any additional costs associated with the Prize are not included in the Prize and are the Prize Winners’ responsibility.
  7. The Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash if the Prize Winners do not wish to or are unable to take up the Prize for any reason whatsoever.
  8. The Prize Winners agree to participate in reasonable promotional and marketing activities as and when requested by Cityhop for no additional compensation.  All material produced for such purposes shall remain the property of Cithop.
  9. Cityhop may refuse to award a Prize to a participant who, in Cithop’s view, has acted fraudulently or not complied with these terms and conditions.

General

  1. Cityhop reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at its discretion and to extend, modify, postpone or cancel the competition at any time. Cithop;’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  2. Cityhop, its related companies, and agencies associated with this competition will not be liable for any loss, claim, cost, expense, liability or injury (‘Loss’) suffered by any person in any way associated with the competition including as a result of entry into the competition or winning or use of a Prize, except where such Loss cannot be excluded by law.
  3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
